Den & Rust Crematory (Bilthoven - The Netherlands)

The auditorium in the Den & Rust Crematory in Bilthoven suffered from noise disturbance coming from the entrance and the adjacent waiting rooms where tea and coffee are served. Disturbance caused by people in the adjoining rooms is not at all desirable in any crematorium during a funeral service. The owner, however, was afraid that the doors would look too industrial. Merford offers a myriad of adaptive door options that aesthetically blend in with the environment and are tailored to the client’s wishes. A visit to the Utrecht Conservatory of Music, which features Merford’s aesthetic doors, convinced the owner.

Merford Special Doors supplied nine MN53 doubled-wing, sound-insulating doors. The doors have integrated cabinet bolts and stainless steel fittings. The colour of the door frames differs from the door colour.
